We are an established Early Years Hub supported by EYFS SLEs and experienced EYFS leaders. We are currently looking for schools who would like to take part in a peer project. This opportunity will provide excellent network opportunities for newly recruited NQTs within early years settings or young teachers early in their career. Teachers who attend termly Early Years Hub meetings will be supported by and linked to an experienced teacher, exploring ways to further develop their own subject knowledge and leadership. This project will best suit NQTs or teachers in their 2nd or 3rd year of teaching.
Aims and outcomes
Support new early years leaders at their start of their career to have the ability to:
Recognise the importance of developing their own expertise and up to date with national expectations
Manage the culture and ethos of the school within the early years setting
Confidently report about early years to other staff, senior leaders and governors
Lead best practice in a positive working environment for all staff within early years
Lead staff development opportunities
